Microalgae oil
Omega-3 DHA + EPA
Our Schizochytrium sp. algae is grown in a closed-loop system, so no ocean contaminants can get in. Through natural fermentation we extract its omega-3 DHA and EPA, and every batch is tested for heavy metals.
Real ingredients. Real supplements.

Reading practice, first sums, a thousand “why?”s a day. Yet fatty fish, the food richest in omega-3, is the one most kids push away.
So we skipped the fish. Trime Kids Omega-3 + D3/K2 straight from microalgae, with vitamin D3 and K2, from purely natural plant-based sources.
The learning years
For young children, every day is full of firsts: the first word read without help, the first sum counted on their fingers, the hundredth “why?” before lunch. Children work hard to keep up with all of it. Their plates often don't.
Fatty fish is the main food source of omega-3, and it's exactly the food most kids push away. If fish night ends with a full plate going back to the kitchen in your house too, you're in good company, and there's an easier way than winning that battle.
“I can get him to read for twenty minutes. Not to eat one bite of fish.”
Salmon was tried twice, and both times someone cried. Pasta, chicken and anything with ketchup go down fine. Fish goes back to the kitchen untouched.
You check the homework. You pack the snack.
Reading practice done, bedtime story read. And quietly, at the back of your mind: is their plate covering everything these busy, curious years need?
DHA mostly has to come from food
DHA is the omega-3 found in fatty fish, and the body makes very little of it on its own. Count the fish portions in a normal week. For many families the honest answer is zero.
“If the child won't eat it, it's useless anyway.”
A real review from a Czech mum, and she's right. A supplement that smells of fish, or comes as a pill nobody will swallow, ends up at the back of the cupboard.
Fish get their omega-3 from algae
Fish don't make omega-3 themselves. They collect it by eating microalgae, which is why “fish twice a week” is the usual advice for growing kids. We went straight to the source instead, so the learning years don't depend on whether they like fish or not.
Tiny marine algae produce omega-3 DHA and EPA. They are where the whole ocean food chain gets it from, fish included.
Fish eat the algae and keep the omega-3 in their fat. Great for the fish. Less great when fish is the food your child pushes away.
Our Schizochytrium algae is grown in a closed system, without the risk of heavy metal exposure. Its oil goes into a nitrogen-flushed glass bottle and onto your child's spoon.
Made for the learning years
Omega 3 + D3/K2 per bambini is the everyday omega-3 for the learning years, ages 3 to 12: omega-3 from microalgae, vitamin D3 from lichen and vitamin K2 from natto in one daily dose. Lemon from organic Sicilian lemon oil, or unflavoured for kids who notice everything. Into yogurt, porridge or milk, and off to school. No fish, no fight.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption of calcium, and vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. That's why the two come as a pair.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Handy in the darker months of the school year, when the sun can't do much of the work.
136 mg DHA and 68 mg EPA from microalgae every school day, reading day and counting day, even in a week when Friday's fish went back to the kitchen.
Made from algae, not fish, so there's no fishy smell and no fishy aftertaste. Choose fresh lemon, or unflavoured for the kids who notice everything.
Vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. K2 joins it to help maintain normal bones.
Every ingredient has a named source
Algae, lichen, natto, lemon, rosemary, coconut. No sugar, no sweeteners, no synthetic preservatives, no fish. You can read every line on the label out loud and know where it comes from.
Omega-3 DHA + EPA

From lichen
Our vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) comes from lichen, which builds up nutrients in harsh wild conditions. A plant-based form of D3, and vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
MK-7 from natto
The MK-7 form of vitamin K2, made by naturally fermenting natto soybeans. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, which is why it partners vitamin D3 in this formula.
Taste kids accept
No artificial flavours or enhancers. The taste comes from the cold-pressed zest of organic Sicilian lemons, laid over a real algae oil. One customer's daughter says it tastes like lemon cake.
Natural antioxidant
To ensure our omega-3 remains fresh without chemical preservatives, we add rosemary extract. This acts as a powerful natural antioxidant that protects the quality and taste of the product throughout its entire shelf life, so you can be sure you are giving your children the very best.
The carrier
Vitamins D and K require fat for proper absorption. That is why we chose premium quality organic coconut oil and stable MCT oil. They act as safe carriers that protect the valuable nutrients from spoiling and ensure that children's bodies can utilize them effectively.
Don't trust us. Verify us.
Every batch is tested in independent ISO 17025 laboratories in Czechia and Germany. Here are the results, nothing hidden.
In microbiological testing we check for unwanted microorganisms such as bacteria, moulds and yeasts. These can affect not only the safety of the product, but its stability and shelf life as well.
| Test | Limit | Result |
|---|---|---|
| E. coli | ≤ 10 cfu/g | ≤ 10 cfu/g |
| Staphylococcus | ≤ 10 cfu/g | ≤ 10 cfu/g |
| Salmonella | Absent | Not detected |
Heavy metals are toxic elements that can enter food and supplements from soil or water. Inorganic forms pose the greater health risk and are strictly regulated — which is exactly why we grow our algae in a closed system, far from the ocean.
| Metal | Limit (mg/kg) | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Arsenic | ≤ 1–2 | 0.02 |
| Cadmium | ≤ 1.0 | 0.01 |
| Lead | ≤ 3.0 | < 0.01 |
| Mercury | ≤ 0.10 | < 0.01 |
Fits into the morning you already have
The daily intake for ages 3–12 is covered by 14 drops, just two full pumps. You can adjust the dose to age, health status or your paediatrician's advice.
Or straight from the spoon, but best with a meal containing at least a little fat. That's when the nutrients absorb best.
No fishy smell, no fishy aftertaste. Pick fresh lemon from organic Sicilian lemon oil, or unflavoured for the kids who notice everything. Tip: keep the bottle in the fridge for the freshest taste.
One 31ml bottle covers up to 60 doses — about two months of breakfasts.
Through the learning years
Mostly, how little effort it takes. Fourteen drops, no fight at the table, so you can simply enjoy the reading, the counting and the questions, without that little voice asking if something's missing.
Fourteen drops go onto a spoon of yogurt and that's it. No pill, no bargaining at the table. One mum told us her 3-year-old now asks for it himself.
136 mg DHA and 68 mg EPA arrive every day, whether or not Friday's fish got eaten. Vitamin D too, which is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children.
The first book they read to you all by themselves. The endless stories about their day at school. You get to be fully there for it, without the quiet worry that something on their plate is missing.
About €0,61 a day, or €0,52 on subscription. Far less than fish twice a week, and nothing goes back to the kitchen.
From one parent to another
“For me, a premium product :)”
I ordered after long hours spent studying which supplements would be ideal for my children. The composition seemed perfect to me and Trime feels very solid overall — I appreciate the whole team, great work! I was only afraid of the taste, but storing the bottle in the fridge helped a lot, and my 4-year-old son accepts it without a fuss.
“Finally, one she'll eat”
Finally an omega-3 my daughter will eat. Thank you so much.

“He asks for it himself”
We've been using it for a while, and my 3-year-old son asks for it himself because he likes the taste.
“Lemon for one, unflavoured for the other”
My older daughter says it tastes like lemon cake and takes it without mixing. The younger one prefers unflavoured.
“Our umpteenth bottle”
They're tested for heavy metals, so I'm not afraid to give them to both my kids. This is our umpteenth bottle.

Everything mums ask us
No. It's made from algae, not fish, so there's no fishy smell and no fishy aftertaste. The lemon version is flavoured only with organic Sicilian lemon oil, and one customer's daughter says it tastes like lemon cake. Unflavoured suits the kids who notice everything. Mix it into yogurt, porridge or milk (not hot food), and keep the bottle in the fridge for the freshest taste.
It is suitable for children from 3 years. Children 3–12 years: 14 drops daily (omega-3 250 mg, D3 400 IU, K2 5 µg). Children over 12 years: 14–28 drops daily. The dose can be adjusted individually according to age, health status and the recommendation of your paediatrician or a nutrition professional.
Fish don't produce omega-3 — they get it from microalgae. We go straight to the source: premium microalgae oil (Schizochytrium sp.) with an excellent EPA to DHA ratio, free from the contaminants that accumulate in the marine food chain, and suitable for vegans. The bottle is flushed with nitrogen before sealing, so the oil stays fresh and never tastes fishy.
The 31ml bottle holds up to 60 doses, roughly two months at 14 drops a day. That's about €0,61 a day, or €0,52 on subscription, which refills it before you run out. Store it in a cool, dry place up to 25 °C; after opening keep it in the fridge and use it ideally within three months.
We'd rather you didn't take our word for it. Every ingredient has a named source: algae, lichen, natto, lemon. Every batch is tested in accredited ISO 17025 laboratories in Czechia and Germany for heavy metals and microbiology, with mercury under 0.01 mg/kg against an EU limit of 0.10.
